Custom Paver Pool Deck & Outdoor Living Space | New Albany, Ohio

Located in the beautiful New Albany Country Club community, this backyard transformation began with a nearly blank slate and a homeowner’s vision for a new 20′ x 40′ swimming pool surrounded by inviting spaces for outdoor entertaining.

Working alongside the pool installation, Traditions Landscape Group designed and built approximately 1,200 square feet of custom paver patio and pool decking using Unilock Beacon Hill XL Smooth pavers in Fossil, accented with Unilock Copthorne in Basalt. Unilock 24-inch Smooth Ledgestone coping in Buff provides a refined finish around the pool.

To create a cohesive outdoor living environment, we incorporated natural stone walls, a custom brick masonry grill island, and a separate fire pit gathering area. Extensive landscape installation introduced lush privacy plantings, while Pro-Trade low-voltage LED landscape lighting enhances the space after sunset. Elite decorative aluminum fencing completes the pool area.

What was once a backyard with a small, aging brick patio is now a beautifully integrated outdoor retreat designed for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying life outdoors.

Completed in July 2020 (image taken in 2026), this project also demonstrates how quality hardscape materials and thoughtfully planned landscaping can continue to complement a property as the landscape matures.
